The Township has a very high concentration of active adult communities. reports the median home value was $390,899 in early 2020. Depending on the development there can be quite a range. It is difficult to get an up to date picture of real estate prices in Monroe Township. We know of at least 10 such communities, along with developments aimed at all age groups. Many of these are clustered near the NJ Turnpike. Monroe Township has one of the greatest concentrations of active adult communities in the country.
